We’re a close-knit community of Maharashtrians who’ve found a home here in Glasgow, yet carry a piece of Maharashtra in our hearts. Whether it’s craving that first bite of tilgul during "Makar Sankranti" in January, to the excitement of raising a gudhi on "Gudhi Padwa", to feeling the familiar beats of Dhol Tasha of “Ganpati Bappa Morya” echoing during "Ganapati", we come together to relive the moments that define us.

From singing and dancing to Bhondla songs during "Navratri"to lighting up "Diwali" with faral, laughter, and a bit of homesickness, every celebration feels like being back in Maharashtra—surrounded by people who just get it. It’s about the shared language, the inside jokes, the food we miss, and the traditions we refuse to leave behind.
